PhantomBuster is a cloud-based automation platform for scraping data from websites and social networks. It provides "Phantoms" — pre-built automation scripts for LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and more.

Using HypeProxy.io with PhantomBuster

PhantomBuster supports proxy configuration for its Phantoms:

1. Log into your PhantomBuster dashboard.
2. Open the Phantom you want to configure.
3. In the Phantom's settings, find the Proxy section.
4. Select Manual configuration and enter:
   • Proxy Address: http://username:password@fr.hypeproxy.host:port
5. Save the settings and run the Phantom.

Tips

• Use mobile proxies from HypeProxy.io for LinkedIn and Instagram Phantoms — these platforms aggressively block datacenter IPs.
• Assign a consistent proxy to Phantoms that interact with the same account.
• PhantomBuster has built-in rate limits — combine them with mobile proxy rotation for the safest operation.
• Rotate your IP using the HypeProxy.io API if you notice increased CAPTCHAs or blocks during Phantom runs.
